Reflection of 2020 and Walking Forward into the Bright Unknown

I have struggled to put everything into words and to share with my avid readers but this past year really did a number on me so I chose to put myself first before sharing with my followers.

This past year has been nothing short of challenging in more ways than imaginable. We are being tested in unimaginable ways which has unexpectedly taken us back to what is truly important, ei: the beautiful nature surrounding us in this world, family and close circle of friends, our furry friends whom we usually don’t get to spend as much time with, freedom to walk around without a face mask or worries of catching a highly contagious virus, privilege to travel anywhere our hearts desire, and so much more.

We have all felt HUGE personal growth and strength like never before. I was forced to face fears head on and try to overcome challenges immediately as they came at me which pushed me to become more comfortable with being uncomfortable with the unknown. Having free time this past year, I achieved and learned so much that I wouldn’t have had I not been put in this weird unexpected situation. I earned a certificate about U.S. Wines. I signed up and committed to taking the LSAT test again in 2021. I started a blog and a virtual wine tasting side hustle. These are things I found found true passion in that I’m actively pursuing.

A job is just a job to pay your bills and have a living. We cannot live to work, but work to live our best lives! So what are you waiting for? Go tell him you love him! Go buy that house! Go pamper yourself and pour yourself another glass of wine! Go start your own hustle and call it YOUR business! If this hasn’t shown us how short life is and to truly value it, I’m not sure what ever will again.

2021 is a year of opportunities that are endless because of the growing we achieved last year. I’m walking forward into this year with eyes wide open, ready to take on anything and continue to grow as a student, as an adult, as an employee, as a family member, and so much more.
